À l’ombre des cyprès available soon

Wow! I don’t know for you, but for me 2022 is just crazy. I started the year with the idea of releasing a new EP by the end of the year. Now, here we are and I am really excited to present that new EP to you. It will be released on Octobre 21st. The first single, called “Sur mon corps pousseront des arbres” is already out, and the EP is already available for pre-order on my Bandcamp page.

Pre-order the EP here

With this EP, I also decided to do some videos. The first one is already available, and this coming Friday I’ll release a video for the second track of the EP, called “Your God is Black and Green”.

Another new thing is I finally decided to do some 18 Seconds t-shirts. They are already available on my Bandcamp page, and with the release of the EP there will also be a combo with a t-shirt and a digital download of the EP. All for 27$ CAD.

It’s a 5-songs EP. The cover was made by Nina Normand. The track listing is as follow:

  • Sur mon corps pousseront des arbres
  • Your God is Black and Green
  • For Gene
  • Je suis la poussière dans ton troisième oeil
  • Jeux de mains, jeux demain

I can’t wait for you all to hear the EP. Connect with me on social medias and tell me what you think about it.

Take care

Listen to a new song

Wow! It’s been a while since I wrote something here. Almost 4 years now since a released my latest album. Time flies…

But just because I haven’t posted here doesn’t mean I haven’t been working on some stuff. I’m really excited to present to you the result of a collaboration song I made with my friend and singer Bruno Sevigny. Bruno is an amazing singer and he sings for Kashmir, a tribute band to Led Zeppelin. The track is called Passing Overview. It’s quite different from what I usually do and it was a lot of fun to do. It brought me into new territories for me.

The song is not released yet, but it will be played for the first time ever on The End of the Week Show on Sheppey FM 92,2 on Sunday night, April 28th 2019, between 1PM and 5PM (Montreal time). You can listen online here www.sheppeyfm.org.uk. Then, on Sunday night, I will send everybody on my mailing list a private link to listen to the track. It will be officially launched on May 2nd on my Bandcamp page, and shortly after on all major sites like iTunes, Amazon and Spotify.

Here’s the illustration for the song. I created it with the help of my friend Nathalie Thomas.

I’m really excited to share that new music with you and I hope you’ll like it. And trust me, you won’t have to wait another 4 years to hear some more new music. I got a few tracks that are almost finished and that I’d like to release shortly. Stay tuned…

Gratitude

1 year already

One year ago today, I released my first EP. It was available on Bandcamp at first, but then it became available on iTunes, Amazon and for streaming on Spotify.

That release represented the accomplishment of a dream I’ve had for a very long time. I am really proud of this album, but at the same time, I don’t want things to stop there. I want to push it further. I want to continue making music and most and foremost, have a lot of fun doing it.

That’s why I am currently working on my next album. Even though I have nothing to reveal or to announce at this time, I can tell you that things are underway. I have found a great artist to work with for the cover, and I have many songs I am working on.

Stay connected with me, as I will start revealing more details in the coming months. The best way to stay informed is to join my mailing list, but you can also follow me on Twitter, Facebook and Google+.

Take care!
Pascal

Loop-based songs

With my first EP finally out (download it for free here), I am working on a new project. I just started doing short videos of loop-based songs. They will be uploaded to my Youtube channel. So if you want to be sure to not miss any, you can subscribe to my channel.

So, here’s the first video of that series. Others should be posted soon. I hope you enjoy them.

It’s here…

!8 Seconds - When Fog Dissipates - coverIt’s finally here. You can download my first EP, called When Fog Dissipates on my website.

It’s a dream I’ve had for many years, and it is not becoming true.

There are some peoples I’d like to sincerely thanks for their important contribution in making this album possible.

First and foremost, I’d like to thank my fantastic wife. Not only for her support, but also for believing in me and understanding how much this all meant to me. I love you so much.

Then, I could not release this album without saying thank you to Graham Cochrane and Joe Gilder. Even though we never met (and they don’t even know me), through their blog they had so much influence on me that I could say that I would not be releasing this album today if it was not for them. Keep helping the home studio enthusiasts as you do guys. You rock!

I’d also like to thank Andi Picker at The Dustbowl Audio for taking care of the mastering and doing an awesome job at it.

The beautiful picture used for the cover is from Gino Caron. Thanks a lot Gino and continue taking such amazing shots of our beautiful part of the world.

Thank you to Jim Cornall for the design of the cover. Thank you Jim for your great work and you patience.

Last but not least, thanks to all of you who supported me from the start. I hope you’ll enjoy this album, and the others to come.

So now, go ahead and download it. It’s name-your-price, so you’re more than welcome to just enter 0$ and get it for free. I hope you enjoy it, and if you do, please tell your friends.
